About the LaJeunesse & Bombard Farm
The farm has been the home of George LaJeunesse and the Bombard family since the land was purchased in 2001. The 150 acre property sits along the North Chuctanunda Creek that is fed directly from Galway Lake, and has large pastures and beautiful woods with riding trails that extend up Edward's Hill. The Barn was built to provide roomy box stalls for when the NY weather is uncooperative and a 40' overhang to provide shelter when the horses are turned out to pasture with the freedom to run. The family has owned and cared for horses for over 30 years. Horse'n Around Acres llc was established in 2019 with the mission to share the family's passion of horsemanship and inspire others to make horses an important part of their lives.

Barn Time, Boarding, Lessons and more
Welcome to our barn family! We offer a family friendly atmosphere for you and your horse to enjoy time together. We provide individualized care for each horse; beautiful pastures with access to the barn or a run-in shed, an automatic waterer, and a round bale feeder gives the horses the freedom to be outside as much as possible. They also always have a box stall available whenever it's needed. The farm is our home and both owners live on the property and would consider you and your horse to be part of the family. The 150 acres allow for trail riding through the woods and plenty of room to ride. Or Trailer your horse over to our property and get some riding time and enjoy the fields and trails.
Horsemanship lessons encompass all aspects of horsemanship including understanding horse behavior, horse safety, grooming, tacking (saddling) up, groundwork, and horse care in addition to horseback riding. Every lesson is tailored to meet each student's individual needs and goals.
